Lyricsbeing of sound mind
Touching your subconscious
All senses aware They tingle with excitement Move if you dare Waves flow through your body You oscillate in time A sinister synthesis Intrusions sublime When you look, see the sign You're in the presence of the being of sound mind If you listen, you may find You're not alone, you're with the being of sound mind When you feel it inside It's alive, the being of sound mind It has always been here It will always survive It's in the club, in your home In the car you drive Is it an encounter Of the third kind? It's not imagination It's the being of sound mind When you look, see the sign You're in the presence of the being of sound mind If you listen, you may find You're not alone, you're with the being of sound mind When you feel it inside It's alive, the being of sound mind endless
Patterns of light forming at the edge of existence, new worlds undiscovered. I travel through space and time, constant, flowing, relentless, endless………..
Images are formed and immediately dissolve into infinity, beyond my grasp, forever unreachable. Time marches on. Endless……….. I see sights from within my minds eye, they falter, trailing off before I can grasp their true meaning, what is their message I cannot read? Thoughts continue fading..... Endless............ stealth
We're not of this planet We exist in the future Our sound's automatic Programmed by computer This style is electro Spawn of machines Subliminal, hypnotic To control human beings We enter your subconcious Download our minds All thoughts are processed Nothing left behind You can't comprehend What we reveal to you A sonic revolution From the power of 2 reviews808s & altered states ep - review by nexus 6 - electro alliance
Gods Of Technology is Bass Junkie & The Dexorcist. Bass Junkie & The Dexorcist are Kronos Device. Therefore, G.O.D is K.D.? Well, on a physical point of view, the answer is yes. But on a musical level, if you listen very carefully to both projects, this is not exactly the truth as K.D. focuses on hard hitting industrial songs while G.O.D explorates vast registers ranging from cutting edge areas to cosmic, energized and soulful landscapes.
That’s particulary obvious on their very first solo E.P. Smashing follow up to the “Instruments Of Armageddon” hit on Battle Trax’s highly recommended compilation “Assimilate This Vol.1” and their wonderful remix of Signal Type’s “In Abyss” (Cultivated Electronics 03), massive “808s & Altered States E.P.” showcases Phil Klein and Simon Brown’s most melodic side, introducing four eclectic dancefloor slaughters of high caliber. In overture of the A side, nasty “State Of Panic” offers a futuristic immersion into old school electronic. Kicking off on a fierce driven bassline, propeling the right amount of funky tones for your ears, this monster of a track merges up with genius much anticipated beats to sharped drums, feverish synths oscillations & almighty 808 programming, mutating the tune into a subtle tribute to legendary Paul Hardcastle early works. Stunning! On a totally different style, striking “Being Of Sound Mind” slows down the rhythm to introduce a Sci Fi instant classic made of noir and frightening atmosphere over awaken and consciousness vocals, some haunting melodies floating around just like a mysterious ghosts on a stormy sky. This has to be heard, top notch! On the flipside, insane “Stealth” pays a solid hommage to Detroit synthetizm, delivering a robotical piece, full of boomin` 808, crisp staccatos, killing trance switches, sonic bubblings, gloomy strings and dirty bass. Last but not the least, completing the outing on a deeper note, twisty “Endless”, absolute climax of the E.P., closes the 12’’ on a pure emotional jewel, sounding like a successful combination of dark vocoder parts mixed with smooth pads, deep sequences and depressive layers that will give you goosepimples. Making a remarkable debut with this inaugurative release, evil G.O.D is renewing Phil Klein and Simon Brown’s underground style, bringing a serious freshness to their untouchable repertory and a devastating four tracker to the electro freaks. What a monster of a duo. Must have! instruments of armageddon - review by nexus 6 - electro alliance
The wait is over!! Two years after the must have ‘Battle Cry E.P.’, UK Battle Trax outfit returns to transmissions, introducing the first chapter of a brand new vinyl compilation series with lots of astounding surprises. Kicking off the A side with a boomin’ rework of the 1990 Electro Bass classic ‘Bass Generator’ under its fresh Bassing Guild disguise, label owner Bass Junkie (Breakin’, [k]rack-troni[k]) teams up with his fellow partner The Dexorcist (SMB, Control Tower) to spread once again fear and devastation on the dancefloors. Extension of Debonaire’s ‘Bass Re-Generator’ Commemorative Edition (DEBV04) in march, this re-loaded version of Dynamix II’s (C. Barrella, D. Noller) timeless hit sounds quite different from the original, offering a slower jam but with much more sample references (Kraftwerk’s ‘We Are The Robot” or John Carpenter’s ‘The thing’ to name). Fuelled with sharped cuts, stunning lyrics (‘Can You Understand Us?’), Sci Fi FX and eerie melodies, this bass driven monster is followed by another corrosive delivery. Inaugurating their debut release as the Gods Of Technology, Phil Klein and Simon Brown venture with success into more synthetic landscapes, showing on inspired “Instruments Of Armageddon” their immoderate love for retro-futuristic tonalities. Based upon a recognizable Final Dream rhythm, this absolute stormer combines twisty beats and strong analogical flights. Superb. On the flipside, Bass Junkie and heavyweight producer Dynamik Bass System from Germany (Monotone, Back II Boom) associate for the very first time as Motorobot to serve the untouchable old schoolish slaughter ‘Android Spectre’. Enhanced by a deadly vocoder, this robotic anthem dropping serious subsonic 808 flights throughout is sure to become another future classic on the Electro history, melting with boldness inspired vintage strings, funky tones and well balanced claps over a solid bassline. Fascinating. At last, Bass Junkie and The Dexorcist strike back under their famous Kronos Device moniker to display an explosive up to date edit of epic ‘Terminate The Bass’. Taken from the 2004 classic album ‘Qube’, this rough electro destroyer appears today with a new industrial shuffle and some evil lyrics. |
